How do you finish your cows?After our cattle are raised on open pastures, we finish our cows for 6 months on a TMR (Total Mixing Ration) from our own homegrown silage. This TMR is a corn, grain, and hay mixture which includes the whole stalk. By feeding the whole stalk over a longer period of time, we can provide premium marbling and the healthiest beef. Our cows only eat what we grow, which means they only receive the best. Commercial feedlots and conventional cattle ranches finish their animals on processed corn drenched in pesticides. By growing our own feed, we keep beef natural and healthy for YOU. We are working on a grass fed only line of beef. If interested, you can reach us at sales@mountainstatescattle.com

We do that too, but we have tailored our wagyu genetics for years to produce the most delicious and healthy beef available on the market today. How does shipping work?We ship every Monday and Tuesday. Any orders made after Monday at 12:00 PM will be processed the next week. We use UPS ground in order to get your meat to you on time. Our frozen beef is kept cold in an insulated box with dry ice to ensure product viability. You will receive an email with your tracking information. We currently only ship to the western united states. If shipping doesn't calculate correctly, you may be overcharged for shipping. If you are, we will refund you as soon as we ship out your package.
